Job Summary
Plans and supervises well drilling operations.
Key Tasks
- Design the well program (casing, mud, trajectory)
- Follow up on daily reports from the rig
- Control well cost and time
- Prepare drilling cost estimates and AFEs
- Review drilling contractor performance
Responsibilities
- Operational safety and prevention of well incidents
- Ensure well integrity and well-control compliance
- Deliver wells safely, on time and within budget
- Document lessons learned for future wells
Qualifications
Bachelor's in Petroleum Engineering, IWCF Well Control, 5+ years.
