Job Summary
Interprets subsurface data to support exploration and drilling.
Key Tasks
- Analyze well logs, cores and seismic data
- Prepare geological maps and models
- Support well planning and wellsite operations
- Supervise wellsite geology operations
- Prepare geological reports
Responsibilities
- Accurate geological interpretation
- Reduce drilling and exploration risk
- Provide accurate geological input to drilling
- Document all interpretations
- Coordinate with reservoir and drilling teams
Qualifications
Bachelor's in Geology, 3+ years in oil and gas, Petrel a plus.
