Job Summary
Performs welding on steel structures and pipelines.
Key Tasks
- Weld using SMAW/TIG according to WPS specifications
- Read drawings and prepare joints
- Prepare materials and welding equipment
- Inspect own welds before testing
Responsibilities
- Pass non-destructive testing with the lowest rejection rate
- Follow welding procedures and quality standards
- Use PPE and work safely
- Maintain welding equipment
Qualifications
Welding qualification certificate (6G for pipes), 3+ years.
