Job Summary
Protects workers and property by applying safety standards on site; a mandatory role in oil and construction companies.
Key Tasks
- Risk assessment and issuing work permits
- Daily inspections and safety meetings (Toolbox Talks)
- Investigate incidents and report them
- Deliver HSE inductions and training
- Monitor PPE use and site housekeeping
Responsibilities
- Achieve zero lost-time incidents
- Compliance with client requirements and ISO 45001
- Promote a strong safety culture
- Keep HSE records and statistics updated
- Stop unsafe work when necessary
Qualifications
Bachelor's/Diploma, NEBOSH IGC or OSHA, 2+ years.
