Job Summary
Dispenses medicines safely and manages pharmacy or warehouse stock.
Key Tasks
- Review prescriptions and drug interactions
- Manage stock, expiry dates and the cold chain
- Follow Ministry of Health registration and import requirements (in warehouses)
- Advise patients on correct medication use
- Monitor storage conditions
Responsibilities
- Legal professional responsibility for dispensing
- Follow pharmacy laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate dispensing records
- Ensure patient safety
Qualifications
Bachelor's in Pharmacy, Pharmacists Syndicate membership.
